Our Community is Our Strength
The bonds formed between students, parents, teachers, and staff make the St. Stephen’s experience exceptionally rich. Driven by our commitment to embodied relationships, our community thrives on active parental involvement, hosting events, fostering fellowship, and supporting one another in our God-given calling as parents.
The Role of Parents in Our Community
We desire to work together with families who seek not only a fine classical Christian education, but also to be an integral part of a community that serves God and man. As stated in 1 Peter 4:10, “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”
Studies have shown that successful schools are those where parents play an active role. We encourage parents to participate in classroom activities and other school events. This involvement provides parents with first-hand knowledge of the quality education their child is receiving at St. Stephen’s Academy and solidifies the parent-school partnership that we so highly value.
Principles of Partnership
Our desire is that each student’s experience at St. Stephen’s Academy would complement the nurture and instruction they receive in the home and the church. As such, we rely on our Principles of Partnership to guide this essential and invaluable collaboration between parents and the school.
