exists to support families and churches by providing an academically

How is St. Stephen’s
Academy Funded?
St. Stephen’s Academy is an independent PreK-12 school that operates as a not-for-profit organization. We rely solely on tuition and donations to fund all of our operations and programs. We maintain a low-cost structure by utilizing our resources judiciously and relying on the dedication of our staff, the generosity of our supporters, and the significant volunteer efforts of our families. Our school’s primary focus is on providing an academically excellent classical Christian education that cultivates knowledge, wisdom, eloquence, and virtue. We are committed to providing a rigorous, Christ-centered education in the classical tradition to families who value this kind of education. Instead of trying to serve everyone in all areas of the educational system, we concentrate all our resources on fulfilling our core mission.
Is St. Stephen’s
Academy Affordable?
It is true that a private education can be expensive, and requires financial sacrifice from families. However, at St. Stephen’s Academy, we are dedicated to ensuring that our education is accessible to all families who desire it. We allocate 10-15% of our annual budget towards need-based tuition adjustment. Our goal is to keep St. Stephen’s Academy open to every family who wishes to be a part of our unique learning environment.
Tuition
2025-26 St. Stephen’s Academy Tuition(Billed over 12 Months, July-June):
- PreK: $5,250
- Kindergarten (Half Day): $7,980
- Kindergarten (Full Day): $13,380
- 1st-5th grade: $13,380
- 6th-8th grade: $14,220
- 9th-12th grade: $14,760
2025-26 Covenant Classical Academy Tuition (Billed over 12 Months, July-June):
- Kindergarten-3rd: $5,352
SSA tuition includes all books, most school supplies, and most field trips. Tuition does not include school uniforms or co-curricular program fees. There are no multiple child tuition discounts. We encourage families to apply for tuition assistance if there is a financial need.

Additional Information
Application fee
$100 per student (all application fees are non-refundable)
New family enrollment
New families whose children have been accepted to SSA will receive an enrollment contract that must be completed and returned to the school to reserve space in the grade designated. This enrollment contract must be accompanied by an enrollment fee of $150 per student.
Tuition Assistance
SSA offers need-based Tuition Assistance to families dependent on several factors including family income and the number of family members. Please contact the business office for complete details on the application process and deadlines.
