The Intel Involved Matching Grant Program (IIMGP) aims to recognize and motivate Intel employees to engage in community outreach and volunteerism. Its objective is to support employees and retirees giving their time and talent to qualified schools and non-profit organizations while making our communities a better place to live, work and play. For every 20 hours that Intel employees spend making our schools and communities better, the Intel Foundation will donate $200. In addition, each hour of service after the initial 20 hours will yield $10 per hour to the school/non-profit organization for which the original 20 hours of volunteer service were performed. The volunteer hours may be the cumulative efforts of any number of Intel blue badge employees and retirees.
Are you an Intel employee? To have your volunteer time count toward yearly grants to schools and non-profit organizations from the Intel Foundation, you MUST report your volunteer hours in the Intel Involved Database located at http://volunteer.intel.com. For more information about the Intel Involved Matching Grant Program, contact intel.involved.or@intel.com.
