UPDATE (4/14/2010): The City of Beaverton Planning Commission has approved our building expansion proposal. We will apply immediately for a building permit, and hope to have the new addition in place when school starts this September.
The Board has applied to the City of Beaverton for approval to establish a 6-room building adjacent to the current building (see drawings below). This project will allow St. Stephen’s Academy to grow to around 200 students, providing sufficient classrooms as well as a teacher room and facilities for science, art and music.
The project is estimated to cost $350,000, and it is critical that the project be fully funded to avoid incurring long-term debt. Please consider making a tax deductible gift to St. Stephen’s Building Fund. One of the goals of the building fund is to not only raise $350,000, it is to also garner support. With that in mind, we would like to ask each member of our school, parents, faculty, administrators, the board, and supporters to consider a tax deductible gift. The goal is participation, so consider a gift within your means. Every donation counts, no matter how large or small. Participation matters because many foundations only fund schools that can demonstrate wide support from their constituents. To keep St. Stephen’s fiscally healthy, the school needs everyone to participate at whatever level they can afford.
